The Mathematics Department at Montville High School offers coursework designed to prepare all students for college or professional career education. Our coursework attends to the mathematical needs of our students and their future plans as well as preparing them to meet and exceed state and national standards. Students at Montville High School learn to apply their mathematical knowledge to real world situations and become critical thinkers prepared to further their education in preparation for careers in the 21st century. We offer college-preparatory courses for all students in algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, and pre-calculus. In addition, we offer courses in statistics and calculus that can qualify students for college credit when successfully completed.
